Ivy Foundation Scholarship Program
The Ivy Foundation of St. Louis was incorporated in 1996 by the Omicron Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. The Ivy Foundation is the philanthropic arm that works in partnership with the Chapter to administer programs and scholarships for youth and their families throughout the St. Louis region.
Together, the Ivy Foundation and the Omicron Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. have awarded scholarships since the chapter’s chartering in 1984. The Scholarship Program offers support to assist students with their college educational cost.

HBCU College Bus Tour
The college bus tour is an excellent way for college bound high school students to learn about campus life. While touring Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) campus, the students have the opportunity to speak with the admissions staff, visit the financial aid office, check out the dorms, eat in the cafeteria, walk the campus, visit with students, and possibly view a classroom setting. HBCUs are institutions of higher education in the United States that were established before 1964 with the intention of serving the black community. There are 105 historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in the United States, including public and private, two-year and four-year institutions, medical schools and community colleges. Omicron Eta Omega chapter selects a number of HBCUs to visit on it’s annual Bus Tour, exposing students to the colleges they may choose to attend after high school graduation. The tour is offered to students 9th -12th grades. The Ivy Foundation of St. Louis has previously sponsored students on the Black College Bus Tour.
